i understand that.  but still, and generally, no, i would hate to be working on
christmas.  i hate christmas...for some reason, i tend to have horrible
christmases (usually, thanks to my jack-ass father...who, incidentally, left 8
messages on our machine, trying to collect call us from god knows
where...usually collect calls from him mean he's gotten arrested), and i still
would generally not want to work christmas.  but this holiday was so rotten
(hello?  seeing man trying to and possibly succeeding at commiting suicide?)
that i would have prefered working, creepy jackasses and all.  at least if i
was working, i wouldn't be so worried about making my car payments.  and i
realize other people have it worse.
