Most people who have worked a christmas don't say things like "I would have
rather worked christmas." Both of the times in the past 3 years I had to, I
hated it, and I would prefer sitting in a broom-closet apartment for a week
with my mom to doing an x-mas shift again. People are rude, inconsiderate, they
shit on you because you're you and they're not - and you can't do much to stop
them. Christmas brings out the petulant asshole in people. I saw a guy pistol
whip his wife in the drive through on christmas eve because she forgot to get
him some fries. And then he made her go ask us for an order of fries. All I'm
saying is - other people have it worse.
