First of all Merry Christmas to all of you.  Secondly my car kinda died today.
Against all good sense I went out driving at about 6pm today.  For those of you
not in Lubbock the weather here has made the roads as icy as hell would be if
it froze over (which will happen as soon as I get a date).  Anyway I was trying
to stop and my car slid sideways into the curb.  Really hard.  Now my steering
wheel makes 3 complete turns to make the wheels turn all the way from right to
left.  And I drove in this condition on the ice for about an hour or so.  This
stretched the limits of even my driving abilities.  So tomorrow I am taking the
car across the street to see if they can do anything.  Also, one of my presents
from my mom was a key lock de-icer.  It fell apart sometime during the fun with
my car and I lost the de-icer part.  Now it is just a big flashlight.  Other
than that everything is fine.  Besides we are supposed to get 6-8" of snow
tonight.  So I am going to play in it tomorrow.  Don't drive in this if you
don't have to.  It's nasty.
