love in high school is different than love in college, i will agree with that,
but i won't say that it makes it any less intense or important...perhaps it is
sometimes more important since your heart hasn't been shattered time and time
again, making you a little cynical and untrusting by the time you get to
college.  at least for me, love in high school was something very important,
and it was fresh and new, so you shouldn't give up on it.  (i spent a combined
total of 2 1/2 years of a 3 year stay at LHS in love with boys i couldn't
have...i dealt with this by trying to keep a lid on those emotions--sometimes
very unsuccessfully--and dating other people)  so get out there, find someone
else to date, and don't shut yourself off to finding someone even better!
