First off, your collection of various images and such is wonderful... my guess is that they are to a good extent the heart of the project. You also put out a lot of good solid ideas about how views of monsters have changed and who they are to people today. I honestly haven't thought much about that, but it is an interesting thing, and well timed too. So, good core of project... but I think it could be put together better if a few things were changed, though it may be hard to do that at this point. The first thing I noticed was that you have very little content at all on each individual page. Many are just outlines of what the next few pages will say. Generally, I like to have a good screenfull of information or so on any individual page or a web project. In addition, the pages don't ... flow so well. It's hard to tell where in your argument any given page is trying to fit. At the top of each page, I notice the immediate subject. perhaps you should also show where in the greater outline that subject fits? I also would have to say that the navigation could use a little improvement. The color of the 'next' and 'prev' things make them very difficult to see, and often they are a little further below the rest of the content than they should be. It'd also help if there was nothing below them, not even space, which would let the person reading just scroll to the bottom and know where to find them. Then again, if they were more visible, that'd solve that problem. Also, this could tie in a little to the above thing, about pages often not having too much content on them: It would be helpful if the outlines could actually serve as navigation and appear on every page that they pertained to. This, though, is a pretty big change, so it'd be kidna hard to do. If you want, I can explain further... Last, on pages when you use the pre tag, I'm getting a horizontal scroll bar. This is a pretty annoying thing. There didn't appear to be any particular reason you had been using it. If you need an indention, try using the blockquote tag. I guess if I had to choose one important thing to change, I'd make your 'next' and 'back' links a much brighter, more noticable color and put them at both the top and bottom of each page. After that, replace all your pre tags, and then, if you have the time, focus on letting people know better where in the argument they are... and lastly turn that sort of outline into actually linked material. Lots of advice, I know... and honestly your project is not bad at all as it is. But, being the web enthusiast that I am, I couldn't help but point out just about everything I could think of Hope some at least is helpful! -jiv
